While many companies are facing economic uncertainty, fortu-nately, BurgerBusters continues to be an industry leader in growth. We are on a record sales pace and that is due in large part to all your efforts.

BurgerBusters is continuing its record-setting development as well. Since the latest newsletter in June, BurgerBusters has developed and opened a new restaurant in Arch-dale, NC […]

As summer is all too rapidly coming to an end we wanted to send greetings and best wishes from the Finance and Accounting Departments.

The second quarter of 2017 has been very busy and active in the Finance and Accounting Departments working through the acquisition of eight Virginia Corporate stores acquired at the end of May and the two North Carolina stores that we finally closed on in July. We have also been extremely busy with the conversions of the TACO systems over to e*Restaurant, and anticipate 100% completion of […]

The purpose of this policy is to instruct our non-exempt, hourly employees concerning the use of electronic communication on communication mediums such as cell-phones, text messaging devices, computers, laptops, and tablets about work related issues when not scheduled for work or when otherwise off work-duty.

All time spent by non-exempt employees using electronic communications for work purposes will be considered hours worked. To avoid […]

BENCH, BENCH & MORE BENCH

2018-01-17T19:32:47+00:00 January 16th, 2018|Latest News|

When anyone asks me how does operations handles such large growth and development of stores and is still fully staffed my response is simple, deep bench, bench and more bench. Over twenty years ago BurgerBusters Inc. began the bench planning process (store rosters) to truly understand the strength of its people in the stores. What started as a task has evolved into the corner stone of the operations platform.

Every store manager, District Manager and Vice President is accountable each period to assess and forecast the correct staffing levels and […]

Facilities & Loss Control

As 2017 rolls on, we continue to complete both proactive and reactive projects and capital improve-ments to our facilities. With the heightened emphasis and change to national health department guide-lines we began earlier this year the Cold Line Upgrade project to focus on food production lines that do not consistently hold the required refrigeration hold times. If you look at a Taco Bell line with the additions of the hot dry well, GTO Grill, and EVO over the years the cold portion is the only one that has not […]

The Asset Protection team is very excited to welcome our newly acquired stores in Fredericksburg, Hampton, Newport News, and Nags Head. These new stores and a few of our existing stores operate on the e*restaurant system. The AP team have met with most of the new RGMs, worked shifts, and conducted a practice audit in an effort to learn and update our cash handling and Admin audit processes where needed. We look forward to learning and teaching the new e*restaurant systems to all of our RGMs as we continue […]
